A few of you read about the 'obsolete' tag introduced (but not yet used) in RomRaider 0.2.5 beta. Basically, when a newer revision exists for a certain ECU, add <obsolete>true</obsolete> to the romid. When the application sees this tag, it will instruct the user to visit the following wiki where they can find the latest revision.

http://scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Know ... bilityList

With users all upgrading, we can concentrate definition support on the latest revisions and not worry so much about older ones, and they'll all be better off anyway.

I spent about 10 minutes creating that page on the wiki today, and didn't do a whole lot. There are some missing ROM links, it could probably be formatted better and everything I wrote could probably be rewritten. If someone wants to go that, go for it. ;)

Jared what version are you using? (you have an 04 right?)

Does everyone now agree that the newest version (520F for us 04 guys) is the best to use? I've been using the 510F (My car came with 500f). Trying to decide if I should switch up to the 520F.

I'm using A4TF500F right now because it has Mike's OL/CL fixes and I don't know what to change in the latest version..

It's actually pretty easy to make the changes. I have the 510F and 520F with mikes changes if you are interested (He got tired of me asking him to modify maps and explained how to copy his changes)
