I'm coming close to a release of 0.2.4a -- no major updates, just adding some important usability functions that I should have gotten to before. Screenshot below. If you're wondering what kinds of things I do between releases, you can check this thread. I haven't been keeping a very good history (I keep editing that post to keep it current and tossing old data), but I think I'll start doing so.

I'm having trouble with XJep, the expression parser which will convert real world values back in to bytes. I'm doing this rather than having to use two different expressions (toByte and toReal or whatever) in the XML ECU definitions -- you just tell it how to calculate the real value and it figures the rest out. The problem is, XJep, which extends JEP, isn't up to date with the latest version of JEP. The solution is very simple -- just two lines in one of the XJep sources needs to be changed -- but I'm tired of fiddling and trying to get it to compile. If anyone understands how to get this done better than I, I'd really appreciate the help.

I've now updated the documentation and packages on http://www.singsurf.org/djep/ if you download the latest source version then everything should work OK. Note you do need to set a few environment variables for things to work correctly.

If you still have problems let us know.

Rich

looks like he's fixed it?? not sure.

Ah, cool.. I checked last night before bed but hadn't yet today. :) It should just take me about 15 minutes to finish up the direct value input now.
