You can turn on noob moderation such that the need X posts to get out of noob status and posts need to be approved. Posts don't count till approved. Set to 1, if first post good, approve, if not, delete user and all posts. It's the only way against the human spammers.

We can give it a try. It also blocks PMs until the post limit is met.

Yeah, so do I.

It doesn't reduce inconvenience to you, but to everyone else it does. Also means spammers are wasting their time and fail to actually spam.
