The main display template(s), and perhaps others, have been hacked to sit up high against the container in which they're displayed. This is fine/good, assuming you want to run it embedded like that, BUT, some pages such as mark all viewed have not been edited as such. Due to this the links that should never move jump around between these pages. Because of that it's impossible to bypass the delay by clicking through to the index after such an operation.

Recommended fix: ditch frames, run phpbb3 on a subdomain, upgrade to latest version.
Alternative approach: edit other templates to match main ones.
Likely outcome of thread: nothing much :-)

But I had to try anyway.
