RomRaider Test Release rev037 - UPDATE!

post up your romraider.log and romraider_stdout.log that should be in the directory where you unpacked the test release.

I don't see a file anywhere that is the romraider.log, but I do have a file that is romraider_stdout.log but it is empty.

I must be missing something, please continue to help.

I haven't tried the test release, but suggest the following:

Open a console window (command prompt) and go to your installation directory. From there, type

java -version

and see what it reports. If it reports some flavor of 1.6, try then running the batch file directly from the command line. Copy any output you see there and post it. Just based on a previous post in this thread, I don't think the test release is compiled with 1.5 compatibility. I'm pretty sure you'd get a different error if the class files weren't compatible with your JVM, but am not certain. If you get

'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Then you need to make sure that the bin directory of your installed JRE is in your path.

Java 1.5+ is a definite requirement.

Did not have the latest java.

I now have it and all seems to work fine, thanks!!!!!!!!!! :mrgreen:

rev37 - neither the MAF or injector tools will record data. MAF tool worked previously, never checked the injector tool.

If it worked previously, what have you changed? Are you using the latest logger def or is all data just being filtered out?

make sure you have designated a logfile destination, too. I got an error very similar to that, and once I fixed the logfile destination, it was good to go.
