Can you zip your 'romraider.log' file from the RR install directory and post/PM it to me? I'm having the same problem with the ET function, not working even after 1/4 mi is traveled, here is the rr.log file as requested it may have more than the ET runs as I usually log all the time while driving, if it would be better to start from scratch I can delete the file and just do the ET runs and post it Thanks

I suspect the data handling. Once I get my clutch fixed I'll be able to test it out to see what's up with it. I didn't see anything in your log. Thanks.

I tried to get an ET today. set it up with the data and hit record. It showed the yellow letters on the screen telling that it is ready like the dyno. when I took off wot, the yellow letters cleared but I never got an ET. I did let off the throttle between shifts...does that make a difference?

OK, I think Jeremy/Testes has the final 91 octane tune done on mine and the road dyno log pull on Data Log Lab shows a solid 322 awhp with 298 LbFt torque so I think I will go to the same stretch of Hwy 63 and do a pull or 2 using this dyno and compare notes...

New test version attached to post topic39-34.htmlNow at rd-v14 which fixes the ET function. Let's see some times! You can try this formula after your 1/4 mile: hp = weight * (speed/234)^3 weight is total of car, driver etc. speed in mph.

I spent the day yesterday updating some outdated drivers on my old dell c810 laptop/carputer I spent the day today trying to find a driver to allow my usb to serial adapter to allow the lc-1 signal to be recognized by the computer....LM Programmer will not even recognize the signal and computer drivers is all that have been messed with so is a very good chance my adapter is not working right with the computer ...I can't get it to recognize my lc-1 signal... I will have to see about picking up another serial to usb adapter on my way home from work on Friday to see if that is the issue...
Anyway once I get it going again I will be downloading the new version and doing a pull or 2 for dyno and et tests.

hey sorry for disappearing on you. first my computer broke then i was on vaction and on the way back my 09 foresters engine spun a rod bearing while driving home on the highway. its been a long couple of weeks but i should be able to help you out again. Did you ever get the dyno for autos straightened out or do you need more info?
oh yeah on a side note the rental car subaru gave me is 2010 outback it has the cvt transmission in it. do you know if it will be possible to ever road dyno cars with a cvt? hmm this has got me thinking i will have to see if subaru gives specs on the "gear" ratio since it does have paddle shifters in it.

I was able to get the ET function to work for me the first time I tried it today, boy am I slow This was from a stop at idle with the a/c on, I tried a couple more times launching from 2K with the a/c off, but was not able to get it to work after the first successful run- will try again tomorrow Thanks!!

Sorry to her about the engine. Cars are such a pain when they break! I think it should be working for autos, no one has said it did not. As for the CVT, that's going to need a different calculation method as the tranny is always changing ratios. I'll have to do a bit of searching on the net to see what has been tried or tested. I once had a Ford Freestyle with a CVT. For an auto it was quite nice as a people mover. What did you think of the new OB? I think they are ugly, tall and fat.

I did three back to back and all gave results. If you can zip the romraider.log file and post it I'll take a look to see if it tried to record anything at all. Here is my slow run FYI. I took it easy as I just put in my new clutch and still running 0 WGDC so the start was slow and I engaged the clutch fully before getting back on the gas hard after both shifts. Attachment: et-2.png

I think my problem was that I was switching between the dyno tab and the data tab a few times in between ET tries, also loading different logger profiles as well, here's the zipped file
Thanks

That log has no info I can use. It's probably an archived file now called romraider.log.1 or .2

Here you go, try this, when I installed a properties editor program it changed some of the file names in the install dir in RR
Thanks!
