ok, got a problem. When i try to use RR rev037 on Vista Ultimate SP1 on (P4 single processor) i get the “Error 3184” when ever i try to open a rom image. (i do have the latest JAVA installed) what is interesting, is the “dos” window doesn’t stay open (by launching “run.bat”) as it does for older rev033 or lower. (and yes i reinstalled it few times) However it works when i use rev033 or lower. .... weird ?!? Rev037 works great on XP, no problemo.... but not on Vista Oh, please don’t say “well don’t use rev037” Dweeb

I changed the command in the run.bat file so that the dos window would close after it started so that is normal. It could be the cause of your problem on vista however. I don't (and won't ever) run vista so can't test it myself. Open up the run.bat file and delete the 'start' from the beginning of the line, save it, and try again.

strange. any errors reported in your romraider.log and romraider_stdout.log? delete them, try opening romraider and then post up what was created.

A little searching shows this is a java bug caused by a change by microsoft in vista: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6449933The solution would seem to be to upgrade your java version. What version of java are you running now?

but what strikes me as weird is the v033 works and 037 doesn’t (on the same machine, in different folders...), The ERROR happens when I try to open a ROM image with-in RomRaider, that’s when it crashes. Not when i am opening RomRaider. as i said no big deal, just wanted to make you aware of it... My tuning notebook is XP anyway, not Vista.

I was logging with the aem uego again today and for 3 or so runs the afr was stupid wrong, one log was almost solid 18.4 all the way to redling (the gauge red 11 or so) and one other was mixed between 18.4 and 0 and 10, kinda all over the place, i closed the program and reopened it and it was fine.....just thought id share.

I used the MAF tab with success yesterday. Recorded the data for about 1 hr or so and then interpolated and applied the data with no problems.
If I have stock injectors, do I need to use the injector tab also?

I just ran the Injector tool and it seems to have gone bonkers. First I was not able to get any plotting unless I set the MAF scale to 2-100. At default of 20-100, I would see no data points. Only thing I changed were the MAF settings and the max intake temperature. CAL ID:A4SGD10C Description: 02 USDM Impreza WRX MT/AT ECU ID:1B14400605 I ran it for 3-4 miles. It scaled the injectors to 633cc and the latency was set to: [Table2D] 6.5 9.0 11.5 14.0 16.5 3.02 1.72 1.21 0.92 0.61 I have a 16 bit ECU with blue injectors out of a 2.5L WRX (565 cc). Am I missing something?

i finally switched back to stock intake and tmic so i can properly scale my injectors... did some logging tonight using the injector tab and it seems to be pointing me in the right direction... not much of a change so far but i'll do some more logging tomorrow...
DW 750cc Cobb Spec Injectors
initial - current 750cc - 734cc .90 - .85 (at 14v)
then i can switch back to aps 70mm cai and aps fmic and work on the maf scaling. boo for $3.80 / gallon gas when i have to drive and drive and drive to get all of this set up.
