Alright. I've got a question.. do we want to have seperate distributions for Windows and other platforms? The only difference is the libraries that are packaged with it right now. We could make a single distro and have izpack (or another installer if we so choose) install the right libs. It will make the filesize a bit bigger but that's really the only drawback. Space on the host is negligable but it would even be a bit less.

Personally I really dont care about izpack for linux or mac. I think the linux & mac heads can suffer with tar.tz's for a while. Lets get the windows support up and running first.

I had the chance yesterday to test the logger against an AEM UEGO and was able to fix a small problem with it. I didn't have time to test it more thoroughly but I was receiving data from it and it was being correctly displayed in the logger.
I've committed the fix so make sure you do an update before building the release.

Thats the kind of attitude that keeps most poeple of of linux.... I for one don't care because I will manage either way.... but if you want to keep the open source free to all spirit... you should make the linux with the izpack so its easy for everyone...

Paul, you can upload via anon ftp to ftp.RomRaider.org/incoming now and attach it to your posts so you dont have to host large files elsewhere. See the dropdown menu next to "filename" when posting.
I'm going out of town this week for an interview (!) so it will be this weekend at least before I'm able to get any work done. I'll take a look at the build process and try to make it as automated and portable as possible (hopefully 100%).

I really want to know if my Uego is going to ever work. People have reported they have gotten it to work through RomRaider, but I never have. I can get it in hyperterminal just fine...any updates?

Sorry guys, I've been too busy to even check the forum lately. This weekend isn't looking good either, but I should be able to find some time next week. I should find out about the new job tomorrow I hope.
