LM-1 test log attached. Not sure why at the end it is saying com1 port is in use. I used a logging profile that had no external sensors in it. This way I was sure that the LC-1 connection was not trying to be made from my previous logging.

If that is indeed from an LM-2, then it's definitely ISP2

Took this line item from one of his LC-1 logs (LM-2 unrecognized response: B2874313036B00000000000000000000B287)

Code:
                0xB2,0x87, // headerHiByte, headerLoByte
                0x43,0x13, // data word 1
                0x03,0x6B, // data word 2
                0x00,0x00, // data word 3
                0x00,0x00, // data word 4
                0x00,0x00, // data word 5
                0x00,0x00, // data word 6
                0x00,0x00  // data word 7

The first word is definitely a header, and it says there's 7 data words expected (after the header). That looks correct..
The second word says status is 0 (normal operation) and that the multiplier is 147
The third word says the lambda is 491, so ((491 + 500) * 147 ) / 10000d ) == 14.57

looking good.. The LM-2 looks like it definitely sends out ISP2 and the AFR bit location format is the same as the LC-1, not LM1..

Update your checkout and give the latest code a go. I have pretty much rewritten the Innovate protocol handling so that the same code is used for LC-1, LM-1 and LM-2. Your LM-2 should therefore work with any of these plugins.

When I get some more time I will consolidate these into a single Innovate Wideband plugin.

1. LM-2 serial: Pass
2. LM-1: Pass
3. LC-1: Pass

To summarize LM-2 works with the parts from the previous post.
LM-2 (MTS out) => patch cable => joiner => serial program cable => usb-serial adapter => laptop

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Great, thanks for that!

I really need someone to test this code with an LM-1 if you have access to one...

Hey guys, I am also quite keen to get my LM2 working.

Its just sitting gathering dust and I really want to use it, so if you need anyone to test anything please give me a shout as I would love to get this sorted and get my turbo fitted :)

Cheers guys...

Hey guys, I'm wondering if there's any chance of compatibility for other MTS devices in the future. ie: Auxbox, SSI4

It's not exactly critical as I could use LogWorks, but it limits the parameters, so it would be ideal to use in RR.

Thanks!

Hey guys - sorry for making a new thread - it was an accident!!

I read through this thread but I just wanted to clarify my readings. In regards to support of the LM-2, are you referring to the logging of only AFR's using the LM-2 unit, or do we now have the ability to log - like we do with Tactrix - with the LM-2's OBD-II cable to directly from ECU to LM-2 to PC? If so, this would mean we have one cable to do it all? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but I'm considering a LM-2 and wanted to check on its compatibility and functionality.

Regards,

-Keith

MODS - please delete the other LM-2 thread!

Tested LM-2 USB connection on new released RC5 Romraider. It was working well after selecting MTS port 0(USB port?).

Thanks all developers.
