This test release has been removed for download - an official release is now available.

RomRaider test releases can now be downloaded from here:

The svn repository location has not changed.

To install, just unzip to a new directory and double click on run.bat to start the editor, or logger.bat to start the logger directly. DO NOT install over the top of a previous version.

I have added a new test release (RomRaider Test Release rev.037) which can be downloaded from the link above. Major changes include:

* MAF scaler changes
* New Injector scaler tab based on mickeyd2005's excellent spreadsheet
* LM-1 support

Note that I have not gone through everything and renamed from enginuity to romraider yet.

I'll see about testing the LM-1 support this afternoon. I'll also give the Injector scaler a shot shortly! Thanks!!

Quick question on the MAF/Injector tools. Are the IAT ranges in F or C? Also, what is the "Density"?

One suggestion on the MAF tool: Can you add a realtime view of the Current MAFv in the top right corner, maybe a large box up there? It would help while driving to make sure you hold certain voltages and get data for them.

They are in whatever units you've got selected for that parameter on the other tabs. Same with the filter values.

I'll have a think about it, thanks for the suggestion.

Some notes on the MAF and Injector scaler data filtering. They both automatically filter out CL only data and when any tip-in is present, as well as the visible filters. Still need to add an option for specifying max MAF (g/s) change over time.

Will there be (in future versions) the ability to "scroll" in the dashboard view, if you are logging more parameters than your screen will display, like the Graph tab does?

I'll test some, on this new version, tomorrow for 16bit (02WRX)..

I tried to use this new release tonight but it wouldn't connect up to my LC-1 Was just stuck at 20.33. I fired up the Rev 785 version and it worked great. Anything I can do to debug for ya?

Yup.. I was going to debug this but I found after the LC-1 had been powered on for an hour the controller went nuts and started spitting out garbage. Nothing would work, except waiting 4 hours. *shrug* So I'm not in a mood to do that again soon. LC-1 logging needs to fixed anyway, I took a look at that and it seems like a lot of effort to get it right Also eclipse is horrible. I did make the sample rate counter work properly though!

Seems there is a problem with the lc-1

For those having issues, do the following so I can try and fix it:

1. Close the logger and editor
2. Go to the directory where you unzipped the test release.
3. Delete romraider.log and romraider_stdout.log
4. Replace the existing log4j.properties with the one attached to this post (you will need to unzip it first)
5. Start the logger and try to connect to the LC-1
6. After a minute or so of it not working, close it all again.
7. Go back to the test release directory and post up the new romraider.log and romraider_stdout.log that have been created so I can have a look

use the above for LM-1 problems as well.

LC-1 works again for me on the newest update!
