I´ll put the idea form the BRZ-read-out threat to a feature-request for RomRaider:

This solution is not very comfortable because the read-out is in S19-Motorola shape and need externaly convert into binary ..
Maybe this could be done in RomRaider automatically and save a binary file.
The interface itself can be fixed deffinated as the "RomRaider solution based on Arduino-board" or other, if better solutions are awailible ..
So "we" were able to read-out modern, not ECUFlash supported renesas based ECUs.
For flashing I will suggest the SHBootmode, witch allready works just by using the free Renesas tool. Maybe we can start this programm direct with buttonpressed of RomRaider Editor
Flashing ECUs witch are supported via ECUflash, could still be done via ECUflash. For this a "Flash-Button" with start ECUflash is also enough
(as we allready disscussed)
The point why I suggest this way for RomRaider is: I cannot see any devellopment in ECUflash, so there is a need to a solution for newer ECUs.
Here we got a workable one.
Of cause this solution is not as comfortable as OBD flashing, but I don´t know any "professional" Tuner Solution instate of ECUtek, witch does not use the way, I discirbe..
And we will be able to support of the denso based motorbikes too..
So, open for every kind of disscussion, hints and oppinions...
