I dont know how most other guys tune their MAF sensor scaling, but I like to use the open loop spreadsheet to get the MAF scaling in open loop a couple times, but then to get it VERY close I log AFR, Engine load, and MAF voltage in the graph page. I then do a full throttle pull or two back and pause the graph screen in the pull's time frame and then I can look at all the different changes by zooming in. The change that i'd love to see would be for the value to pop up if you leave the mouse over a line for a second or two. It would make tracing the lines over to the axis a lot easier, especially when you're on the far right side of the screen. If this would be possible to incorporate into a new version I think it'd really help out. Thanks for the consideration.

Also if an open loop MAF scaling tool could be incorporated into romraider like the closed loop MAF scaler it'd save some time.

I agree that there needs to be better OL MAF support in Romraider. You can set the filter/window settings in the current maf tab, but the main problem I see is that it plots too slow. It would take a lot of WOT pulls to get a decent set of OL data to effectively tune the upper portion of the maf sensor scaling table. Though I have not tried out the beta dyno tab, it looks like it plots at the actual query rate. I wonder what it would take to get the MAF tab plotting that fast. Anyone?

It does plot in real-time. You may not see it because duplicate values don't make the "green" dot move. And some Tip-in and OL data is filtered out.

A tip if you're not aware... if you use the mouse to left-click and hold on the graph and drag a selection square over the trace in question you can get a very zoomed plot of that area which provides very good detail on the axis. You can do this multiple times if more detail is neded.

An open loop tool may be possible.

Im aware of the zoom feature, although I was using romraider for at least a year before I found that feature :D

Some times I like to use the graph tab to scale the open loop on my own without the use of a spreadsheet because I find I can get the MAF scaling a lot closer by graphing engine load, MAF voltage, and AFR and writing down what the target is at the various loads and then looking to see what the MAF voltage is. Having a pop up value would make this a lot easier, but thats just me being lazy I guess :D

I guess I have to learn Java in the near future!
