I was planning on adding all CEL fixes for each revision down the road (starting with 32bit) in a definition release, but without the ability of the "switches" to inherit this would create a very large definition file with the hundreds of CEL fixes per revision. If this could be updated in a future RomRaider release, then the xml size shouldn't be too bad.

That is, unless you wanted to add automated CEL disabling which would be pretty easy with the 32bit and possible with the 16bit roms.

To clarify: The switches will inherit from the base, but will not inherit the on/off data values.
