I currently have a Cobb OTS tune on my outback, but I also got my first tatrix cable and still learning some about doing it myself.....

When I loaded a Cobb OTS map on my car, I believe it re-enabled a couple codes that were previous disabled for the secondary air pump delete. Can I use ECUflash to pull the CobbMap off the car, disable the code & Enable force readiness, and reflash the ECU without messing with the "Marrying" of the Cobb AccessPort?

I have a few other things to button up before I want to go down the road of opensource tune

Cobb was forced to make some changes a year or so ago, which will re-enable any emission related CEL's when you update the tune. They also change the format and lock their .bin's so you won't be able to read or modify it without the AP. You'll have to unmarry it and flash the original tune back into the car to be able to do anything with Tactrix, Ecuflash, etc. It's definitely a pain going through all the tables to port everything into a new tune.

If you have the previous tune saved that was on there prior to the OTS, you can flash that back on and it should be good to go. Green shouldn't impact already saved tunes. If you modded the car and 'needed' the OTS, then there's no way around it moving forward with Cobb. You can unmarry and start from scratch with Ecuflash/tactrix and do whatever you want, but it's a bit more work obviously.

you can't use ECUflash to read the cobb tune off the car no. You'd have to un-marry the AP and then tune from scratch with opensource/ECUFlash *or* put the car back to it's road legal state.

Thanks!!! I was going to just try it but I haven't even attempted it this past week with being sick. I did determine I have a VF52 so I need to plan for that as well!
