Forester 2.0 X secondary air pump delete

Hi

Can anyone please help

I’m in the UK and wanting to build a car for targa/ road rallying

Its a 2005 Forester with a Hitachi ecu

Can the secondary air pump be mapped out? It’s really in the way in the engine bay and this car needs to go on a serious diet

ecuflash won't read the hitachi ecu but other 3rd party proprietary tools will so have a google about you'll find something that can read and write the ECU then the adjustments to the tune can be made.
