Morning guys.

I have a 2010 Impreza STI R205.
Its got the EJ207 engine, I think you guys would call it a V10.

When I first got the car, it had a very erratic power curve when put on the dyno, I've since had it mapped and its much better now.
But going forward I'm trying to learn about tuning these and tweaking them myself.

Here is the boost target map from the original map that comes with the car factory.
Can anyone say why they put the dip in the requested boost in the area of the map I've highlighted?

In my head I would think it would just be a smooth increase all the way, but I guess they did it for a reason, does anyone know why?

that car has SIDrive and drive by wire throttle so dont just look at the boost table look at the throttle table as well you might find they request more torque low down the revs but they dont necessarily want more boost just to get the throttle plate open more to get some airflow on the go. If you make some logs of that plus what the TGV's are doing you'll get a better idea of what is going on in the stock map.
