Hello, I am new to the forum, my introduction I'm roger and I have a big problem apparently bricked ecu was adjusting a 2008 wrx sadm 2.5 turbo box 5th using ecuflash and I always follow the same flashing procedure here comes what happened to me I blinked normally ecuflash showed me successful blinking but when the car is running it does not start and notice that the temperature meter it went to the highest top and the scanner does not recognize me through the obd2 nor ecuflash can flash again the battery was already disconnected to be able to follow a procedure at that moment
I suspect that the ecu is blocked and I am looking for how to use the shboot mode
if someone can help me

I have at my disposal
1 original tactrix

1 Usb to serial based on ftdi 232rl chip

1 555 Chip

I found the diagram that tactrix uploaded for the shboot mode but in my ecu I cannot find all the pins to connect and I have a doubt about what materials I need since the ftdi should bring almost everything to be able to achieve it

The ecu has the following numbers
22611am820
112300-7410
Dense

The rom used is az1e400e

Can someone help me complete this journey?

I am from chile so I don't have the possibility of sending the ecu to another place

I can pay through paypal for help

I will be attentive to your comments and if I am breaking any forum rule, let me know that I will resolve it

I am very happy with all the information provided by the site and the romraider software is very very useful
very thankful to everyone and your help

你好朋友,我也遇到这样的情况,我是刷写到一半的时候,断开了链接,导致数据丢失车子发动不了
你需要把电脑板拆下来 用dimsport或者ktang直接刷写进去

sorry if the translation is not the best my native language is spanish
straight to the point
I managed to recover my ecu with the scheme that tactrix has on its website
using a 555 watch
a part of resistors and a ftdi serial to usb cable putting ecuflash in shboot mode I was able to record the factory image I found it fascinating if anyone needs help with this procedure I can provide information

the car it was used on is a 2008 subaru wrx 5mt
sh7058 processor

for SHboot? There's a decent PDF on github for it:

My recent experience with the subaru ecus i found a ktag recovered the ecu with ease and had a better pinout for than the shboot diagram, all the cables just connect to the programming pads and it included diagrams.

Can pick a ktag up cheap

does ktag do all 32 bit ecus? did you have to solder any wires to the board?

Yes you need to solder wires with ktag, but unlike with shrecovery setup for ecuflash they are all located on 1 row of points at the edge of the ECU.

Takes about 30 minutes to write and used a file of the repo to do it about 2 weeks ago. Also used the ecuflash version to do a trans ecu bit that was a whole extra ordeal

Actually all testpoints from unbricking ECU, will lead to same pads at the edge of the ECU PCB. I have usually used the edge pads for SH bootmode, not the testpoints.

You need to select the one appropriate to your vehicle, select by make/model then make sure the picture of the ecu matches your ecu, be aware there is different pinouts for reading and writing
