Now that some of the programming logic is being hacked, I'm wondering if it is in the realm of possibility of reprogramming the ECU to flash the check engine light when the stock knock sensor is hearing knock. Logging the knock signal with an external logger is usually pointless as the transmission rates are to slow to pick it up. Would be nice to have something like UTEC's blinking CEL.

Hmm I suppose we could re-route one of the CEL codes into a blinking knock indicator. I need to find the "Knock Signal" indicator in the RAM/ROM to do this. However I have no idea where that value is at this time.

Anyone know where the knock indicator location is?

I'm guessing Calvin would know since you can log the "knock signal" in his logger. It is an 0 or 1 value.
