If I'm not hitting target boost due to running a ported/polished VF34 on a map that's intended for an unmodified one, how big of a change should I make to the WGDCs initially? I hit high 14s right now and target is a couple psi higher.

Basically just looking for information on how big a step to make -- 5%? 10?

Add 1-2 full turns on your WG actuator arm first before making those changes. It may eliminate flutter as well.

Kind of hard to do on a VF34 unless I REALLY twist the little bugger.

I did the WG arm tweak on my TD04 when I went stage 2 last year, and it helped... unfortunately I can't do it now.

I know it sounds ghetto but the helper spring from home depot really helped my vf series turbo. I believe the wastegate spring on them is only 8 psi.

When I use the live tuning feature of the ecutek I go in increments of 5. This adjust it by 5% across the whole map. It's easier to do a run and adjust without having to flash each time. Even though the flashing is kind of a pain I would still go with small changes.

I do have the helper spring on it, but would rather have the ECU handle it on its own.

I'll try bumping it 5% at a time and logging -- thanks!
