Hey guys...
Well I updated the drivers for my cable and now I can data log!
Here's the question...
When I look at Knock correction.. I understand why it goes negative.. But why is it going possitive??? It went UPTO 12.
It did it on and off Boost.. Is this normal? Or should I be freaking out (Cause I'm kinda freaking out)
Thanks..

KC should move based on eingine load and rpm. Take a look at your KC table and it should make a little more sense.

yes, this is normal.
negative kc is indicative of a problem, namely detonation

Knock correction is the way the ECU optimizes timing.
if the ECU doesn't detect knocking, it will increase timing up to the timing correction map maximum.
if the ECU detects lots of timing at base value of initial timing map it will retard up to the maximum retard defined in your tables. That's where you see negative values and it means trouble
either check your gas or reduce timing for this slot.

Hi - sometimes I get one instance of a negative KC value between gear changes or after lifting of the gas suddenly (throttle angle =0). It never appears under load - is this normal? Thanks.

i dont know about normal, but it does seem to happen quite a bit. I dont fully understand it because if the load is zero it should be outside the knock learning range.. either way i dont think it matters.

do you, by any chance, have a blow off valve 100% atmo?

I c this as well. I've pretty much been told by multipul people, if you see -KC under vacume it is most likley just engine noise.

All this info has helped me out, Thank You.
I do have another question.

I don't get a error when I connect to the ecu.
Any thoughts?
