Can someone take a look at thise log and tell me what you think.
My IDC's seem way high for my setup(~98% peak).
Changed the fuel filter thinking it was the culprit, seeing as I bought the car used.
Didn't help.
Any other ideas?

ev8siv3's stage 1 91 octane map on a 2002 WRX 2nd gear.
I am running 93 octane.
adjusted wastegate arm 2 turns.
Stock everything (airbox included) except for:
straight-pipe catback
panel filter(cotton gauze k&n type)
HomeDepot Racing cold/ram air intake (fog-light to stock airbox)
Thanks in advance.

im having the same issues but worse... i feel like my car is just dumping stupid amounts of fuel in for no reason... so much so that i see IDC's of 100% and misfires/ rich on bank one codes... my car is stock turbo and injectors... i put the injector scaling at 440 and it helped a bit but not nearly enough, i may just up it to like 460 or 480 and see how it goes, from what i calculated changing it from 420 to 440 is a 4% change, 9.5% change for 460 and 14% for 480.... i guess we will just have to see... im still a newb at this so if one of the moderators wants to chime it im sure both of us would be able to benifit from it...

im a noob so correct me if im wrong
I saw similar 90% IDC on my stg2 as well and was concerned but a local tuner says its ok - forgot the reason (something like its not the same scale and its only a prob if it exceeds 125% IDC)

I think a WB02 is in order to correctly diagnose the af ratio and maybe EGT temos

You guys are just running really rich. It would help if you had a wideband.
You can be running about 11.5:1 at redline with 93.
I'd bet you're running around high 10s, or low 11s at redline with those IDC's.
I ran 21psi with my td04, but as you should know, the IDC still stayed around 96% toward redline since the VE decreased at the top end due to the small size turbo.

Thanks.
Hate to see what they were was before...this map is actually leaner than the stock one I pulled out of the car.
But you are dead on with the high 10's AFR.
Just wanted to make sure I didn't have any other problems(bad injectors/fuel pump, ect.) before I continued.

Need to get an up-pipe(and downpipe) first before I do anything else, the pre turbo cat makes me nervous to get aggressive.
Then a wideband and back to work!

No change to the map at all? Looks rather odd, do you get some kind of fuel cut at all?

i have a wideband, just can't log it yet... it shows 8.0's at worst, its ridiculus.. i think it might be something to do with the walbro pump, fpr, and custom fuel rails in my case.. oh and egt's don't go higher than 825c so they are ok... and im running a stock map with the boost adjusted because of the perrin ebcs...

From personal experience of how 'simple' exhaust mods effect IDCs and advice from this community I am not surprised at your high IDCs. In your case you also have induction improvements reducing inlet air temp slightly.

For information see my '95% Injector Duty on Stock ECU - is this right?' post here:

Nope, no changes at all. Just flashed the map as I downloaded it.
I wasn't hitting target boost at first, so I adjusted the wastegate arm 3 turns.
This was too much, and I got lots of boost oscillation(3-5 psi) after a fast shift (but none during a roll on in gear).
Backed it off to 2 turns, runs great.
The MAF g/s seems to indicate its making some good power/airflow.

I just noticed the IDC's were high in logging, but the car runs great.
No fuel cut, nothing.
Actually, I noticed it hit 100% once.

Any other ideas?
Am I just running rich?
I find it hard to believe that the homemade ram air and straight pipe make that much of a difference.
Stock downpipe and up, intercooler, everything.
IAM is solid at 16.
