So I managed to break my OP 2.0 after all of about a month of use (been too busy to deal with replacing it). Someone else was driving my car, got the cable hooked around their leg, went to get out of the car, and presto, the mini-USB connector ripped clean off of the PCB :(

So...how can I get a good deal when I order one this go around? :lol:

Hi Lance,
If you have the patience to wait a week or two, the folks at Tactrix will probably replace that one for you free. Can't speak for them, but have seen them do it for a couple of my customers.

I had the same thing happen though not by accident. For a while it was connecting/disconnecting. The usb "plug/unplug" chime was sounding every 20 mins or so on the carpc. I finally decided to swap in a new usb cable, and when I plugged it in the usb cable/port sunk into the tactrix box :(

I did pull the case apart afterward to see if I could solder it back on myself, but the connectors on the back of the usb port were a bit smaller than I felt comfortable with. I've since sent it back in to them and am hoping for a replacement.
