I'm off the Subaru band wagon and now drive a Lexus IS-F. I've done my research on tuning Toyotas and before buying was fully aware that tuning the stock ECU hadn't been accomplished or at least wasn't available to regular Joe six pack.

I've read about your cable and the Techstream software and while it does allow for reflashing of Toyota ECUs, you unfortunately need to be a dealer or shop to subscribe to get the updated ROMs. At that, no one has yet cracked the checksum algorithm to allow for personal ROM modification.

I know this is a stab in the dark but do you have or know where I can get one of the Lexus/Toyota CUW calibration (ROM) files to look at.... even better for my model car? Any leads pointing me in the right direction?

Perhaps you could PM me if needed?

Thanks!

You don't need to be a dealer to subscribe to the Techstream software and perform OEM reflash of modules. Any valid subscription to Techstream will let you download and install the updated files. I've never seen raw ROM files passed around, even at dealerships although there may be some internal dealer process I'm not privy to
