Hello World,

I Just Posted this in the NASIOC forum as well, help, i am in a bind:

I've had this 2002 WRX since 2006. After countless mods, stage 2, rebuild and back to stock,
the motor blew at 287,XXX miles on my way back to Oregon, I am now stuck in Southern Utah.
Luckily I have friend who's been willing to put me up for the past month while I work, and work on the Subie.
Needless to say I love this car.

I ordered a JDM EJ205 V7 engine from eBay, Iwire AVCS bulkhead, and a JDM Sti V7 ECU.
I had to put the USDM stock headers and up-pipe on it cause the JDM ones were cracked.

I reflashed the ECU using a tractrix cable with a map (A4SD800A)
I downloaded from Romraider (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=7591)

The car runs, no check engine lights, no vacuum leaks.

I'm nervous about driving it to Oregon because of knock/ blowing the motor.
The JDM motor is higher compression than the USDM and it takes a higher Octane.

Currently I am learning as much as iI can about this art, it's difficult.
Later today Ill take it for another drive in the neighborhood and log it.
Do some appropriate research.
Have to start somewhere!

Can somebody help, or point me in the right direction?

I need an open source map via tactrix cable for a JDM V7 WRX setup to work on 91 octane.

Went for a drive yesterday, I logged an IAM of 8 which was constant and knock correction advance (KCA?) of 1.5 @ 3673rpm only and then down to .5 @ 3916rpm. Nothing els appeared that looked weird on the other parameters I have set to look at. I've been looking on the logs on Log Viewer and comparing them to the map I have on ecuflash.
Did a quick google search yesterday and I emailed a bunch of tuners to see if anybody could help. Got to have a my bases covered. this is day three of "tuning" :D  :!:

I had a map years ago for the v7 ej207 and it ran like mad hell, spent alot of time tweaking it for 93 oct to get everything out of it. turbo was a vf22
it may be of help but may not be. this is all the carberry maps i made for my v7 ej207

this is pre carberry

I have no idea which ones were the latest look at the last modified and you can probably find the latest version
I remember the car ran hard af making about 380 what ultimately killed the motor was one day i forgot to up the rpm for knock correction and the motor detonated and destroyed one of the pistons so make sure that is setup to correct past redline.
