I have a feeling my outback was mapped with a manual transmission tune. Where could I get a stock A/T tune for an 08/09 outback XT? I didn't see anything listed in the sub-forums here. Just 05/06 years I'm not opposed a tune that would be similar to "stage 1". however my preference would be an OEM stock tune. |

have you checked the list of stock roms to see if its listed? https://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=7591 if its not there then what's your ROM ID as it will be easier to search for? |

Yep. 05/06 has multiple options and only one 08/09 option and its an Auto JDM. I'm assuming I don't want to use JDM. If I'm worried that my car was tuned for an M/T, would the ROM ID still be relevant? Excuse me as I'm new to Opensource and this is all new ground to me. |

I take that back, maybe it is. It was bundled with the Legacy GT.. I need to do some digging to verify if its the same tune.

Read your current ROM and look for the ECUID/CALID, that should answer if your car has a MT tune. Also, once you get to know what's your ECUID, then you can search a stock file so you can compare it to see what's changed between them. Best regards |
