The images in this forum are for use as reference only, and are not guaranteed in any way. Use at your own risk. Anyone can upload their tuned ROM here, from a complete novice with a poor and possibly dangerous tune to an experienced tuner with a well-designed map. Even an expertly tuned base map may be unsafe and damaging to your car. This is because while these maps may be designed for a particular model with specific mods, they cannot take into account the multitude of differences that may exist between individual vehicles, even those of the exact same model and year. These include the quality/octane of your gasoline, factory production tolerances, mechanical/maintenance issues, variances in the design and performance of aftermarket parts, additional mods outside the scope of map, driving conditions such as extended high load or extensive idling, and varying extremes of altitude, humidity and temperature in which the vehicle will be driven.

When uploading a base map:

• If you did not tune the ROM yourself, you do NOT post it...period. We do NOT allow ROMs to be posted unless you are the original tuner. This applies even if you used another tuner's map only as a starting point, regardless of how extensive your changes are.
  
  
• If you upload any ROM for any reason, you need to explain in your post where the ROM came from and who tuned it with as much detail as possible. If you fail do this, the ROM will be removed. If your description is vague or unclear, the ROM will be removed. If your explanation is dishonest, the ROM will be removed and you will be banned.
  
  
• We do NOT allow Cobb, Ecutek, or other commercial ROMs to posted under any circumstances. This also includes factory ROMs where all or some of the tuning values from a commercial ROM were copied, regardless of your tuning changes after the fact.
  
  
• This forum is for tuned images only, not stock ROMs.
  
  
• This forum is for proven and successful tunes, not for those that are half-finished or a work in a progress. Use the main 'Tuning Discussion' forum if you need help with your tune.
  
  
• Make sure you provide a detailed list of your modifications as well as your fuel octane (including ethanol content, if applicable). It is also helpful to explain your tuning methodology and any issues that may be unresolved. Users may also wish to know your level of experience, how aggressively the map is tuned, and what conditions your car sees (altitude, outside temps, driving conditions, etc). Include relevant logs as necessary.
  
  
• Post your ROM in the appropriate sub-forum which is organized by model. List a brief description of mods in the title with year, market, model and tranny first (ex. "06 USDM LGT MT: Stage 2"). Note: Your title may be reformatted and/or edited to fit the standards of the forum.
  
  
• Upload your ROM as an attachment. Do NOT post a remote link to the ROM.

When downloading a base map:

• Carefully log and monitor your vehicle after flashing a base map. If you do not understand how to data log to determine if the tune is safe and make changes as necessary, then you should not be flashing any base map. If you are not willing to spend the time to learn this, then you would be better off having a professional create a custom tune for you. That is, base maps are NOT designed to be "flash and forget".
  
  
• Do NOT flash a base map unless it is the exact model year, model/trim, market and transmission as your own vehicle. Sufficiently advanced users may be able to copy a tune to their own ROM revision, but must be aware of any differences in logic and parameters that may be present.
  
  
• Do NOT run base maps that are tuned for different mods than yours, especially as it relates to intakes, injectors, cams, engine displacement and turbos, unless you are willing to take the time and have the knowledge to safely tune it further on your own.
  
  
• If you find something wrong or questionable with a map, be sure to post about it with specifics.
  
  
• Remember, there is no "standard" map for your car with a given set of mods. If you were to allow 20 of the top tuners in the world to each come up with their own tune for your car, you would end up with 20 different tunes and none of them would be identical. This is because a tune takes into consideration hundreds of parameters and variables which can interact with one another and there are many different ways to achieve the same goal given the complexity. Each tuner can and usually does have their own tuning methodology and preferences. This means that while some of the general rules of thumb may be the same among experienced tuners, they often have different ways of going about implementing them.

Other rules:

• Discussion on the circumvention of local emissions testing is not allowed. Forcing a ready code for the purpose of emissions testing is likely illegal in your jurisdiction.
