is it possible to just use an sti map for the base map or would it not work?

what ecu code is it?

You are best off downloading the std map from the ecu (saving a copy) and then amending it gradually to get the right scalars for injectors and the other mods.

I am also in the midlands are are contemplating exactly the same mods on my 03WRX, I also need to understand what changes are required to run a VF35 turbo, I understand how to scale the injectors, I presume just changing the injector scaling to the same value as in a std sti map will allow the pinks to work fine, I don't think any cels will need turning off as the sportcat should keep the ecu happy. But need to understand what else needs changing to ensure all is fine, So if anyone has any info or links please post them. If I find any more info I will post it on here. It appears there is not enough UK based self mappers about at the moment.

The information is all here guys. There is so much info available but the best starting point for mapping is logging and understanding what the logs are saying.

Rather than grab someone else's base map - work up from your map and that way you know what has been doe and why.
