Hi, i am wondering if i could get some help with this map. still a bit new to the tuning deal but i am having some issues with a low rpm low load stumble between 2500-3500 rpm. it feels like either the car is running too retarded in the low rpm or too lean. I have read some info regarding this and found some people talking about the exhaust and intake cam being to retarded at this rpm and load range? if anyone can give me some advise or maybe help tune this out i would appreciate it. thanks

Looks like it has had a Cobb AP on it before

I did tried Ecutek on this computer and same trouble, I could get any map or upload something with Ecutek too...

We finaly tried doing a bench reflash to try using "back door" entrance and we "crash/crack" the ECU... so we had to buy a new one and start with a Fresh ECU

We did it and I was able to tune the car with Ecutek, and implement the sport utilities...

After all this case, yes the Ecu that was on the car had software from other manufacturer /CObb, that wasn´t nice to work with...

I guess your first stop should be the nearest Subaru dealer and letting them do a OEM Reflash, later on with a "fail probe" map , you, me or someone could download the map and work on it for your particular objectives...

I can do it, but me living in Costa Rica will not be a nice option for you...

good luck!

Thanks for the response, i did a service on the car this weekend with new plugs and cleaned the MAF. It seems to be a bit better today but we will see how it goes this week. I have the factory OE map in my computer but it is the "Updated" map that was put out as a fix for the stumble issue. Needless to say that map is a nightmare, i might take it up to a tuner here in Sacramento to see if he can help if it starts to act up again. I will run a log on it this weekend if you want to take a look? Feels like it has a boat anchor tied to it at low load/throttle percentage.

Okay so this has been buggin me for a while now....and i apologize for the uber noob question. when loading this map up there are boxes next to the target boost A,B,C as well as a few other boxes. I click them and can see the target boost perimeters, do i need to check these off before flashing the EPROM? My '02 never had these boxes and this '07 does. I read the article that Gabedude put up and i think i understand it but wanted to get a definite answer on that. Reason i am asking is because my car has been feeling a bit lazy and i am having some pinging issues. The computer corrects itself but then it feels like i am losing quite a bit of advance, the boost is there but the car just doesn't have the punchy feeling it should. any info would be great, thanks

I been trying to translate the CL delay settings into my 2006 wrx but my 2006 wrx has an extra table for delay while this sti rom only has a1 and a2, mine has a1 a2 a3, does that mean i should only insert the 150 delay in a3, or a 2 and a3. i wish i could get a direct understand of what a2 and a3 is. i read the whole CL OL thread.

I sent you a private message on nasioc. This will NOT work with your mods. First post on this thread states aftermarket panel filter is ok and catback exhaust is ok. Your vehicle being catless and having an spt intake will need to get tuned for that specific combo. And ideally you would need to get a wideband, I have seen some cars with the spt intake need quite a bit of touching up on the maf scalar but that would require the use of a wideband.
