Hey everyone, I bought a wrx last August and found out shortly after that the motor had spun a bearing. so, I spent the last 9 months getting a shortblock, (2) sets of heads (after getting scammed on a set), and then putting everything back together.
I did get all new parts that you would normally replace when rebuilding a motor (timing belt kit, oil pump, etc...). The machine shop looked over the block and heads and everything looked good to them.

I'm just trying to find a "base" map that will work with my car, so it doesn't grenade itself while I'm driving Ms. Daisey to church. I'm sure someone will need more information from me, but this is all I can think of as of right now.

GitHub Repository Link (has my data logs and some other information about this car)
https://github.com/G33kman/Subaru-Diagnostics/blob/83fc9eba1398e4feb0c2343573d962f0ee7c7fc4/Documents/Logs/Data-Logs/dl-05-22-24.md

Vehicle Information
Year: 2008
Make: Subaru
Model: WRX
Transmission: 5MT
Market: USDM

Aftermarket Parts:
  • Cobb AP v3 (Current Firmware)
    - Currently running the OTS Stage 2 91 USDM 5MT Map
  • Cobb BPV
  • Invidia Turbo-back (cat-less) dual exhaust
  • AEM (K&N) Filter (3" Intake Pipe)
  • IPC TMIC
  • Stickers on the back window (10hp per)

OEM Parts
  • I know the Turbo is the TD04
  • That's all I can think of that really matters.

I'm not trying to take this car to the track or drag race down the road to show of my "sick" car. I really just want to get it to a state where I can rely on it.

I just updated the 2008 map thread. Stage 2+ should work for you.
