hi every one this is my first post and i am a virgin to this all

im looking for a tune for my 2004 fxt

i have just recently purchased a low km ej255 and decided to do a turbo upgrade. i have purchased a vf37 twin scroll jdm set up

twin scroll headers
catless uppipe
and twin scroll dump pipe
and ihi vf37 twin scroll turbo

i would love a tune that will run it reliable but with more power and torque untill i can afford a custom tune or get the hang of this tuning my self.

motor will be in car this week sometime

thanks for your time and look forward to hearing from all you tuning experts

Start out by zeroing your cl/ol delay and wgdc and read the subie tuning guide.

Work slowly, first learn how to log, then slowly make your tune, make a flat kca table, lean out the fuel, rescale the axis, raise the boost... always always log... and welcome to a bright new future!

so the way airflow happens with the vehicle will be enough different that it would like different settings. that's the simplest and easiest way to explain why running the vehicle as-is with the mods is not a good idea.

if anything, zero wastegate duty and turbodynamics, or simply run a straight vacuum line from the positive pressure port off the compressor outlet, directly to the wastegate actuator nipple.

if you want to "do it yourself" on tuning, you'll be doing a lot of reading.

look for forum stickys here on romraider, nasioc, and also check out the tuning guides on Cobb's website. They're all good too, the terms mght be different but the functions are the same and the guides covering the tables and their functions will help.

should you go ahead and download romraider (yes, some people join the site to talk about tuning but don't use romraider lol) then if you open up your rom, open a table, and look at Table Describption under the View tab that comes up for the table you picked, you'll most of the time get a very good description of the values or their purposes, etc.

You can pretty much pick a table name for something you don't quite know the purpose of or want to know more about and can search that term here on the forums or on google with an identifier such as Subaru or Forester, etc. and come up with a result.

in any case, it'll be a lot of reading. you should feel good about that though, there's all this stuff waiting to be learned.

I doubt anyone has a well tuned map that they are just going to share, that coincidentally meets all the same mod requirements. despite that, we can totally help get you going in the right direction.
