Post subject:  04 FXT my first adventure with a subaru
well i made the leap about a month ago and bought a fxt for a fun project so here goes nothing. so far all i have done to it is a catless DP made sure all maintenance was up to par it has a catless up-pipe i got a tactrix 2.0 got my old laptop cleaned up and got ecuflash and all the defs along with RomRaider and all the defs for it been doing alot of reading and more reading lol. So this will be my tuning and build thread have a vf43 and sti tmic but want to get some basic tuning skills first. so today i read my rom and made 5 copies to save for backups ill post it here also and just played around with the logger for a bit made some short logs driving around no full pulls cause i know with the catless i will have creep problems

also cant get the version of java that RomRaider want to install on desktop would be alot nicer if i could the maps and rom values on my big slip screen setup maybe im just tired and missed something but try more tomo

For Java just click the additional downloads link on the page with the big install button. x86 is the version it needs.

ive spent the last 3hrs racking my brain and trying all different ways of installing java with no luck is there anything else i can use

still stumped on the java but leave that for another day i did do a couple mild pulls omw home from work and got some misfire count cylinder 3 when i got on it a bit twice but got on it other times and was fine thinking coil will try swapping them tomo after work and hope the problem follows the coil log posted below if you see anything else lmk guys ty, also flashed the rom for the p0420 rear o2 went well working on a stage 1-2 for my setup pulling data from a few other threads but want to get this issue fixed before i try to crank it up more actuall thinking about building a low boost map or if somebody has might do some table copy

appears the same now that ive broken it down i see that it happens right around 2.0 engine load both times

well im grinning finally got the miss under control and got a full pull in and logged need to work on getting learning view to connect but i will , still havnt got java figured out on my desktop been a pain and taking to much of my time so just viewing my logs from there. and working on my tuning from my laptop today i will flash a 1st r1 mainly a copy and paste from tunes ive gathered around here my boost seems down def no boost creep only getting a hair over 10lbs also will be installing my WB lc-2 today making a heat shield here are my 2 short logs feedback appreciated

this is my log today with alot of tables copied from pats 07fxt work and some others attached it the tune seems to be down on boost still and between 2-3k some surge but runs good overall more tweaking coming

What exact issue are you having with Java? Should just be a matter of installing v7 of jre or v8 and be good to go as long as it's x86 version

java error code 2 ive tried all the different versions and my pc has no java on it

Give us a breakdown of what you are doing.

Are you running the installed version or zipped version of Romraider?
