ADMIN EDIT: based off mickeyd stage 1
I've not got much time to write a full write up on the map. this is a very conservative map I feel. I had the car at 17.5lbs with 0 knock and it felt great but I backed it down to 16.5-17 so it could be used by the masses . I felt that I would prefer to see some dyno results before I went more agressive with the map.
This map is not to be used with out a tranny cooler period.
changes i made.
boost wg dc - I adjust this to smooth out a portion of the map at the higher boost. timing is the same ol/cl delay is only cut in half from stock to help out with gas mileage. Adjust to your own liking
I'll take more time to detail my changes later but have a peak.
This map was made on the following car
LGT 5eat / catless up / catless down /tranny cooler everything else was stock including catback.
again this is pretty conservative. on a dyno I'm positive I could do allot more.
I've included my various revisions / and data logs including higher load logs and learning view after i was all done and we drove the car pretty hard around.
Over all I really like mickyd's map and feel he does a great job. Expect more soon
Special thanks to master2192 with out his help I would have never learned as much as I have. RIP SEAN My background.
I started out on 16bit ecu 2.0's and later moved into the LGT realm. I really like the LGT and will say I'm much better at the 2.0 and know the quirks but having a great basemap to start with helps allot.

Tables I used will be posted soon in excel format similar to micky d's since the lgt's are picky about there ecu's
I apologize for not doing that from the start.
I hope to be posting a stage 3 map soon with a 18g on it.

Updated one will be out as soon as I get dyno time.
Also I plan to release a 93 octane version this one was tested on 92 but I had it over 1lb higher with 0 knock so intheory 91 should be fine.
If someone can test it sweet.

I would think it would if you have 93 octane. But I would definitely data log. I made this pretty conservative imho. There is at least one person running this on ca91. If you want to give it a try and post your logs I will gladly review them.

I've got access to 93 octane gas, and I've only got an UP and gutted the 1st DP cat. Threw on the Rev.2 map from thorne and it's running like a dream. Been on for about 2 days now, logs look good and learning view is great too!
I know I should be catless (springtime I will be), but the 93 octane helps out too. I'll keep an eye out on my car to make sure things are still good, but I think since it's based on MickeyD's map and it's a conservative map things should be fine.
Awesome job on the maps Thorne!

I'm going to be working on a stage 2 map later this week for the WRX with a GMBCS. Looking forward to it. It's been a itme issue lately or I would have had this map on the dyno and turned it up some more.

It's been crazy. I've got a stage 2 lgt going on the dyno as soon as his pipes are installed. He's running a revision of mickyd's right now.

This should be a safe starting point for you, though I would start with less max wgdc and slowly turn it up after doing some logging. You shouldn't expect this to be a finalized map though and logging/tweaking is likely required. You can get help with that here or on LGT.com.
Your choice of cables are Tactrix 2.0 or 1.3 if you can find one. Those are the best/most reliable choices and also the most expensive. You can also try a vag-com cable which may or may not work well. People have had varied success but they can be had for $20ish.

I flashed this onto my '05 LGT. It was all the same as yours, but with a VF40/16g. I did seem some knock in the logs and I'm working on it now, but I've got a few questions. Here's a link to the post if you're interested in taking a look. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7332&p=68675#p68675
