I'll see if I can use it with the OBDKey that I have and report back.

I looked at this and found my OBDKey is one version to old to do the firmware update with their tool so I have to send it to them to get it updated. This also looks promising. http://www.btssm.com/I have one on the way to test with.

That is super cool, but they do not support a lot of vehicles. will send them and check.

There is no contacts info on the website and the application is not in the market yet. Strange!

Market? Here's the contact: http://legacygt.com/forums/member.php?u=58385He is limiting vehicle support to known K-line compatible vehicles which should include most everything up to 2014 with a few exceptions. I have no doubt it will work if you have a K-line pin in the OBD connector. I'm more interested in how well RR Logger works with it via the virtual COM port over BT.

I do use BT virtual COM connection for various diagnostic equipment since 2000. Applicable BT stack AND true packet communication protocol should be used. ecuExplorer works fine, obsolete versions of RR fail to work if BT losts bytes. I did not check newer RR versions. My experience is around Windows I know next to nothing about Android BT stack implementation.
Internal chip of ELM327 ( Microchip 18pic2480 or newer ) is routinely reflashed for SSM k-line. The same may be done for SSM-via-CAN.

I believe you can order the BTSSM adapter without doing steps 1 & 2, just do step 3 on the http://www.btssm.com/ site (UK shipping is supported now, you may have to ask for other destinations). I can confirm that all RomRaider features appear to work with the BTSSM adapter over K-line with my test ECU on the bench (no in car live test done but I don't see why it would not work).

May be I missed something.
DOES anybody successfully installed RR logger on Android ?
If somebody does what Java interpreter or other means are to be used to start Jar file ?
Currently I have to use Dell tablet under Windows8.1 to run diagnostics thru homebrew BTSSM. The cheapest China ELM BT adapter is reflashed.
