Hi all
Im new to this site and have had a look to try and find info on this question, but i couldn't find anything. My apologies if i missed previous threads.
So pretty much my question is, is the carberry rom better than the normal ecu system? The reason is i am currently tuned using the factory system, with some good results. Im curious to whether the carberry rom is a more aggresive system and will help with drivability etc vs normal rom.
Quick run down on the car so people know
- 01 JDM wrx sti
- 3" turbo back
- Fujitsubo headers EL
- 40mm Turbosnarth EWG plumbed
- 3-port mac valve
- GFB response bov, re-circulated
* car is open source tuned by gotssuby to 21.5 psi running factory vf30 turbo - car make 204kw ATW on 98 gas (dodgey dyno with no fan setup for top mount).
NOTE - if i go to carberry i dont wish to utilise antilag or launch control seeing as im running stock block and heads
- Im just chasing info on whether i would see better results with my setup using carberry or keep it as is.
Thanks
