I could log numerous 4 byte extended parameters with my 2011 7412597007 such as E41 FLK, E31 IAM, E36 target boost, E59 Gear. The corresponding "P" parameters, where available, also work. The 2013 that I'm running now, 8a12784007 will not report any of the "E" parameters, but rather only "P" parameters such as P91 FLK, P90 IAM. Will not support target boost or Gear. I am using logger version 291. Seems strange that none of these extended parameters will work, possible bug in the definitions? Did something change in Subaru's code between 2011 and 2013 that eliminated the extended parameters?

you need to patch you ROM to see the extended parameters.
open the rom in ECUFlash. click the patch mark. save then flash it back to the car.
