HI All, brand new to the forums. Is it possible with Romraider to reset the oil counter on a 2009 forester euro4, turbo diesel? Oil dilution currently at 10% and just changed oil...resulting in dpf light flashing and frequent active regens.

I get error "ecu not supported" see attached when I try to connect, is this because romraider doesnt support my ECU or because of wrong cable?

I have cable:
AutoDia K409 Professional USB KKL Diagnose Interface OBD2 OBD VW AUDI SEAT SKODA Compatible with CarPort Vag-Com up Version, 409, VWTOOL VCDS Lite

Will keep reading...but many thanks for support

Hey snowcrasy,

firstable a worm wellcame to this forum and "to the world of the BoxerDiesel" :)

Your interface fits to the EURO4 diesel. The communication is just SSM-II and uses the k-line. So logging is possible with RomRaider.

To read and wirte the dump of your diesel, you need a Tactrix openPORT 2.0 Interface together with the ECUFlash software.
But it is just needed to do some chances in the application of the ECU.

Because of to less time, I build some descriptions for the BoxerDiesel in ECUFlash, but not in RomRaider. So only the logger functionallity is great supported in RomRaider for the diesels.

For ECUFlash all lastest dumps upto the early GEN3 EURO5 are supported yet.
If your software is a older one, witch isn“t supported, please update to the lastest one. Subaru will do the same, if your are on maintaindance, so no need to support older software.

BR Jochen
