RomRaider

Hi,

I'm feeling a bit dim for this as I'm pretty familiar with editing XML configs etc. Could somebody possibly point me towards a guide for editing the ROMRaider defs file as I appear to making a hash of it.

It relates to editing the cruise control tables as per this thread. viewtopic.php?f=40&t=8449 Some people have very kindly shared the information on the values to look for and I've identified them in my ROM. There's also some snippets of config in there that they've added themselves, which I've adjusted to meet my offsets in popped in to the file - but I can't appear to get it to correctly show in ROMRAIDER. In fact, as a test, I've just tried renaming some standard items and it doesn't appear to take.

Still a bit stuck. I'm going to sit down and have one more shot them I'm looking for help for beer tokens!

havn't done a lot, but RR is pretty quiet about XML parsing errors...

From what I gather, most of you guys' Subaru defs consist of a base template for each table, as well as a table 'instance', of sorts, with the ROM address etc.

For your problem, maybe you need to reload the xml def from inside RR ? I'm not sure what causes the xml file to be re-read. Last time I think I was either doing "apply" or remove + add on every iteration.
