I own both a Cobb Accessport V3 and a Tactrix cable and would like to read the Cobb stage 2 map off my 04 WRX so I can learn from it in RomRaider. I know I have seen posts about not doing this with pirated Cobb maps and such, but I figured since I bought both the AP and Tactrix cable, I should be fine in the morality category. I tried reading the ECU with ECU Flash but I get an error every time. Is this because Cobb is blocking my attempt to read the ECU? Do i need to unmarry the AP but leave the stage 2 tune on the car and then read it with the Tactrix cable?
I'll attach an image of the error that happens in ECUFlash.
Also, am I correct in assuming that I cannot use the AP to monitor IAM, FBKC and other parameters once I get an open source tune flashed to my vehicle?
Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
EDIT: I think I've found out that AP v2 and v3 both lock the ECU, does this mean there is no way to get the Cobb map into RomRaider? It's looking like I'll have to just sell the AP and tune testes1010's stage 2 93oct map for my 91 octane which I'm still learning how to do. Isn't the gauges on the AP v3 a lot of monitoring capability to give up when going opensource?

Basically, you cannot do that!
I suggest you ditch the Access port and use Carberry it has a lot of features and forums are full of information on that. you can also hire an e-tuner to help you with the tune.
