Hello, how are you? Look, I have tried several times to save data from my BMW e36 in real time to be able to reprogram my openings ... Whenever I try to save my values live while driving, I have a Error that causes the connection to be lost and does not save any reading, when entering my live file nothing recorded appears, any ideas? Some other program to be able to record that information in Alive? Thank you

You press the "Start file log" button but it doesn't save the file to the directory you selected in Settings?

good if it saves the file, what happens is that the file is empty, it does not save the reading of the values while driving, while idling if it does

This is a known problem in E36s, the coils cause interferences with the interface. People often retrofit an OBD port in the interior, you can get the K-Line off the EWS Box for example. So this is not a RR related problem.

That should interfere with live readings too. Still, the file should contain whatever the live readings show even if erroneous due to interference.
Close RomRaider and deleting the settings.xml file. Restart the logger and turn on the ignition but don't start the engine. See if you can log to file and the file has data. If so, stop logging, starting the engine and log to file again and check it after you stop logging.

Thanks, I will try to adapt an obd port in the glove compartment, k line from ews, positive and negative of the flashlight charger, and I would not miss anything else, right?

Make sure the laptop connection (k-line, etc.) to the DME uses ground leads common to the DME. Don't create a ground loop by using a body ground point.
