I have a v9 JDM STi engine in my 2005 Legacy GT, and I'd like to know what is the best way to transfer the STi map to the LGT ECU? Should I just copy and paste the whole maps or do I have to individually add and interpolate each value?

Also, can you flash any 32-bit ROM to any 32-bit ECU?

Thanks, Kevin.

You will have to interpolate values unless the map sizes are the same (length x width).
You can't flash ANY 32 bit ROM's to any other 32 bit ECU, but there are ones that can transfer.
I don't know what the stipulation is, but you can brick your ECU if you flash the wrong ROM onto your ECU.

I would not even suggest using the V9 STi ROM... it is a horrible base point!

Go to the S203 or S204 ROM ;)
