My avcs isn't working and I believe it never has been even when I got it tuned. I've tried everything but replacing the solenoids and given that I'm running a v.8 ej207 I think inverting the NPS might work from what I've read. Unfortunately my tuner and circle of friends have no idea on how this is done. Could someone please guide me through it, or take my map and invert it for me. I'd be forever grateful...if it's a difficult time consuming task I can paypal you.

If your ecu is ah581, search my topics as there's an inverted rom on here (a4te002b)

I have a custom tune on mine, so I don't believe that will work. Am I right to infer that? or is there a way to paste all my parameters into your Rom?

It is tedious, but you'd have to copy/paste all your tables into that other ROM. Just be careful and make sure you copy everything over exactly (including the scalings, not just the table itself), and you'll have to make sure you copy the cranking ipw and ignition dwell tables too. It also has the launch control patch, but I can't remember if it's enabled or not (you won't see it in RomRaider or ECUFlash unless you have the definitions).

Yea I really don't want to go through all that. Is there a fairly simple process involved in doing this on an existing ROM?

The reason why the rom attachment was removed in the first place is because it is tuned commercially - which is against the rules on here. Putting it back up straight after it was taken down for this reason is not a good idea.

And I don't think anybody has a problem with that - I have no doubt people will chime in. But posting a rom that's based off a commercial tune is against the site rules, with good reason - have a look at these: viewtopic.php?t=4695

ok, not sure why that would be a problem if it was custom made to my car. If it were a big name like Cobb or something that comes cookie cutter I could see that. These guys I know personally and I guess if I can't post it so be it.

*If anyone could help please IM me and I will email you my ROM.

Thanks!

Since you did not create the tune you can not post it, changing a few parameters does not make it yours. If your tuner wishes to ask for assistance with NPS invert he is welcome to do so.
