This modified ROM if for the USDM 2006 Forester X MT, ECU # E2VG302D

This ROM disables all the CELs related to the rear oxygen sensor, including:

P0037 REAR O2 SENSOR LOW INPUT
P0038 REAR O2 SENSOR HIGH INPUT
P0137 REAR O2 SENSOR LOW VOLTAGE
P0138 REAR O2 SENSOR HIGH VOLTAGE
P0139 REAR O2 SENSOR SLOW RESPONSE
P0140 REAR O2 SENSOR NO ACTIVITY
P0420 CAT EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD

This is a fairly trivial change, but I thought I'd offer it since there is currently no official support for E2VG302D, and this ROM might help out similarly situated folks with catalytic converter or sensor issues on an otherwise functional Forester.

I have tested and confirmed this mod renders the ECU insensitive to a malfunctioning or absent rear oxygen sensor.

Of course, this mod renders your Forester suitable for off-road use only. Etc.

Can the 2005 RS run without a rear O2 sensor as well?

Do you have the stock file Also ?
