Hallo everybody,
i've got a 2005 sti 2,0l and I need to upgrade the MAF because it saturated.
But the problem is that my rom A4RN300G just limit the MAF scaling to 300,00 g/s max.
Do I have ti edit the map definitions?
So I have to edit scaling for engine load g/rev too?
I come from mitsubishi tunig so these are new thigs for me...

yes you need to adjust the MAF limit in the rom as well as rescale timing, fuel and AVCS tables so that you can make adjustments in the new load areas your hitting.
if your used to evo/tephra mod maybe there is a SD patch for your rom you could look at?

Sounds like a 16bit ecu. You would have to do a maf hack or try carberry rom. The carberry does speed Density and alot more features.

Basically your doing the MAF Hack trick
MAF scaling is halved
Injector scaling is halved
Timing load tables are halved
AVCS Load values are halved
Fuel Load values are halved
CL Fueling Target Comp is halved
You would be seeing 600g/sec real airflow before hitting the MAF 300g/sec peak

doh - your right you know it is a 16bit! Don't know why I thought it was a 32bit one. Carberry all the way then!
