Inside diameter is 3.25" / 82.55mm. Anyone using this size?

A good starting point would be to take the stock MAF scaling for a 66mm ID MAF housing and multiply it by 1.26.

EDIT - harakka below is correct. It should be as he says.

If you increase pipe diameter from 66mm. to 83mm. wouldn't the right multiplier be around 1.6?

Cross-sectional area of the MAF-Piping = Pi*r²
For 66mm:
3.14*33²= ~3420mm²
For 83mm
3.14*41.5²= ~5407mm²

Increase from 3420 to 5407 =~58% --> ~1.6 multiplier.

When I went bigger MAF housing (66->76mm) and injectors (Stock pinks 560->660) I played with these to see if the car would be driveable off boost without ecu tuning as I didn't have Openport cable that time.
Theory said it would be close enough, and it was :wink:
