Ok... :D I think this is a really cool tool.

Add the use of colors/highlighting:
- It would be nice to have both the graphed row and column highlighted subtly, with a pale yellow or grey.
- It would also be nice to have changed values indicated as they are in Romraider (increased cells outlined or colored in red, decreased in blue)

Played around a little more with this... just pasted in my boost targets table for the heck of it. The app handles tables of different sizes just fine. (For the "advance" I just pasted all zeros - used 'show changes' from RR and pasted the zero table in for "advance").

Using this for WGDC might have some value too.

I don't get how the smoothing function works.

Sometimes the button is enabled, I will have a few cells selected, but it doesn't change anything.

If you can reproduce that bug easily, please post a screenshot before hitting the Smooth button. I'll trust you when you say the numbers didn't change afterward. :)

It might help me if you can paste the text of the table as well. Just copy from RR and then paste into a message here. (It'll look better if you click the "code" button in the "post a reply" toolbar" so gets pasted between [CODE] and [ / CODE] tags.)

Thanks! I was just wondering if I should do a simplified version for fuel and stuff, now I don't have to. Or, at least, I don't need to hurry. :)

I have not been on here for a little while, and MAN this is one of the most promising tuning tools! I just downloaded it into my little tuning netbook and it appears to work great. This will save me so much time when building timing tables.

Thanks NSFW!!

We need to get together again for lunch and more tuning talk.

I will... but think you might cut me off soon.. :lol:

Would you be willing to reverse the colors for the graphed part? I am doing a print-screen then printing it out. Right now there are massive rectangular blotches of black ink. White background with black lines would be nice!

More bug fixes..lol.
I cant get the 2002 or 2004 wrx (works with 2004 sti) to open in the 3rd tab or further down, I get this error message:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Thanks again.

GOTC: The color change will be easy.

Thedrill: Do your base and advance maps have the same number of rows and columns? If not, then this tool won't work. (It should have a better error message in that case, though.) Can you paste the tables into a reply on this thread?

They do not have the same amount of columns on the 2002 wrx map that I have attached.
BTW, its a nice app you created.

Thanks.

Bummer. It would take some creativity to support maps with different numbers of rows and columns... It's probably do-able, but it's not going to happen any time soon. In the meantime, I will put in a better error message for that situation.

Version 4 is up.

Josh, how about lunch on the 8th? I'm going to try to lure in a couple other people as well.

Version 5 is up.

LBGT, I found and fixed your bug. The "initial" tables are read-only, and the Smooth button was enabled by mistake. Now it is only enabled for the editable tables.

Definate maybe, my wife is due any day so I am officially on stand by. I will let you know when that day gets closer.

I too ran into the issue with the different size tables on the 02 wrx map. Worked perfect on the 04 sti I was tuning though!!

Josh
