I couldn't get the spreadsheet to work in Excel 2007, as I was getting this error: "This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features", but it worked in Excel XP after changing macro security to medium.

I altered the ROM headers to lower rpms and different loads to match my current map, as well as a higher arbitrary value for the last column.

I had to increase the swath of data that the pivottables get their data from since I had like 50,000 lines of data.

Because of the new headers, I had to add some more line entries to the line graph.

I noticed that some of the requested logged values aren't chosen for the headers, so is it not necessary to log MAF (g/s) since MAF (v) is used?

Can you do a revison to the spreadsheed that will allow computation of logs from can? It goes beyond the limit of excel rows if I put more than 3 15 min logs.

Adding half of the generated corrections from the pivot table has proven to be very effective.

How is this working out for you guys? Same results as with Airboys spreadsheet?

Has anybody managed to get the spreadsheet working in Excel 2010, using CAN logged data? I keep on getting errors that then crash excel - specifically:

Automation Error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients

And then when entering debug, it highlights:

Selection.sort Key1:=Sheets(vs_RPM_page).Range("A2"), Order1:=xlAscending, Header:=xlYes, _
OrderCustom:=1, MatchCase:=False, Orientation:=xlTopToBottom

If you exit the debug mode, Excel freezes.

Works fine on my excel 10 x32.

I haven't tried to do a direct comparison to Airboy's, but my results are satisfactory.

In my scripts, I did make a slight modification, to take advantage of the 'closed loop fueling target' parameter. In AIrboy's spreadsheet, I believe it assumes the target is 14.7,but in some cases it is not, which might help in some cases--but not sure. What I do is track the quantity:

abs(data.afr - data.cl_fueling_target) < 0.2

which amounts to saying 'fueling error less than 0.2.'

In some ecus like the one I have, there's a close loop compensation that adds to the target afr of 14.7. Can you incorporate that?

Here's the definiton to CL Fueling target Compensation A & B (Load)

This is the compensation to the closed loop base fueling target based on load and engine speed. Other compensations (some undefined), are also applied. Note: Lean compensation in this table will potentially force open loop during normally closed loop fueling conditions.

However as stated , there are other tables in play that are still undefined as well. There must be a way to check if the corrections applied are correct to the target.

What is the mathematical expression of the target AFR the ECU is trying to achieve in closed loop? I don't know if I see that in my ECU.

With the scripts I posted, it would be very easy to add functionality like what you describe.

Wonder if this would work for trimming out speed density rom closed loop portion I am thinking it might help a lot! I will have to throws some logs at it tomorrow.

Maybe I'm just excel-retarded, but I'm having trouble with the command buttons in the Excel spreadsheet. I'm trying on both Windows 7 and Windows XP and pressing the buttons seem to do nothing, as if it's in edit mode. Any idea how to activate the buttons?

You should allow macros to run on your worksheet.

Took a while to hunt down the macros settings but all is good now, thanks.

(in excel 2k7) I only see "pivot table options" when I right click, not pivot table "wizard". In pivot table options, I dont see where I can increase the range. Any input is greatly appreciated.
