Ok so I got RR to open up the SD rom so that is good. I also got the logger definitions to work. The only one that would load up is the definition called "logger_STD_EN" is this the one I need to use or is it the "A2ZJ710J.MeRpMoD.Gratis.Testing.v13.4.29.1244" because the first one "logger_STD_EN" will load and give me the warning of the logger def version, but the 2nd wont load and says the def is not configured.

I am just wondering because when I load up the "logger_STD_EN" def, it is missing quite a few things that would be useful to log such as any knock, final fueling AFR... And so far, I don't see any tables to log for the SD part.

I have the latest RR and definitions. In the merp mod definitions, which one is supposed to be used. The "A2ZJ710J.MeRpMoD.Gratis.Testing.v13.4.29.1244"? Because that is the one that wont load.

Ecu_def stubs have been added to the standard ecu defs now available @ github. Also added the necessary logger parameters for timing/idle adjustment. Verified LTV/DTC/Adjust all working on A8DH202X.

Instructions and FAQ updated to reflect the changes.

04ssti, I don't know what to tell you man, I've just verified again a fresh download of your definition loads on a fresh install of 0.5.7 RC2 without issue. This should be repeatable on your machine no problem. Try it again, repeat the instructions in getting started to the T (download everything again). If you still have a problem, post a romraider system log (first set Help->debugging level = TRACE verbose).

Ok, so before, I was just taking the definition straight from the folder and putting it in RR logger and said it was not configured. So I sad down, and read over and over again on the instructions of the Git GUI. Before I had no idea WTH it was talking about so I ignored it. I was playing with it last night and ever since then, RR logger is able to use the definition now and everything shows up how it should..

Ok, it was working no problem now I cant figure it out. It no longer loads up in RR editor.. Here is the ROM and the definition. Can you take a look to see if I missed something?

At the very end of the ecu_def.xml, change the internalidaddress to this:
<internalidaddress>7e67c</internalidaddress>

Or instead use the updated ecu_def file from the repository, which is step #6 of the FAQ:
https://raw.github.com/Merp/SubaruDefs/ ... erpmod.xml (right-click the link and Save Target As...)

WOW!! Will LTV pull up DTC codes as well??

I am still getting this error all of the time on romraider logger though.

How do I make this error message go bye bye??

If you are still using A2ZJB11J.MeRpMoD.Gratis.Testing.v13.4.29.1236 then you can edit the logger.xml with a text editor and add a version attribute to the file to quieten the message. At the beginning of the file change the <logger> line to read:
<logger version="134291236">

In a future release I'll remove the message.

To read DTC you need a logger def with DTC defined in it. Check here for an update:

The ECU is responding with 0 for all the queries related to the row/column values.
That's one of those 512kB ROMs right? There's a known issue with them not reporting such data. You can read about it here in the "Known" issues section.
viewtopic.php?t=2772

The table data should still be valid, for now you will just have to refer to your ROM in the Editor to familiarize yourself with the FLKC row/column values that are in use.

Currently RR LTV does not refer to your ROM for the row/column values. This would be a future enhancement.

I'll look into this for future patches. It should be trivial to open up the SSM read range.

This is the last thing I need to work and then I am home free but the github site is giving me an error.

That's not an error. The file is just not in a format that Github normally displays.

Right-click the 'View Raw' link and select 'Save Link (or Target) As...'
to download the file to your computer into whatever directory you keep your defs in.
