Hi,
I plan to swap my current TD04L turbo for a TD05H that i got cheaply from my buddy. Unfortunately it didnt come with the vacuum pipes and restrictor pill.

What restrictor pill size should i use between the current 0.8mm and a 1.0mm?
The car is a hybrid with an EJ25 block with ej20 heads.

rip it all out and fit a 3port with no pills

realistically you can use either size pill, the difference will be how much tuning you have to do and how much overall boost you can make. If your just getting started tuning I'd say go with the larger pill to give you less boost and you can always swap it out later if you really dont want to go for a 3port.
