This EcuFlash def is based on the RR def above. Let me know of any issues.Store the file in directory: \Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\subaru\Impreza WRX
of your ECUFlash installation.
Updated EcuFlash 32BITBASE def is needed for the above def.

Any word on the 8112587007...it has the same Cal ID (AE5K500L) and it's making me bang my head on the computer. :/
Can I just flash over the 5007 over the 7007? I do that with a lot of the 2011s.....well upgrade them rather.

I tried changing the ECU ID...didn't think it'd work and it didn't still says the ECU Def is undefined. I have the def for ECUFlash, but not for RR....and i hate ECUFlash as I feel like I'm tuning an EVO.


I'll attach this pain in the ass ROM..., so if anyone can tell me I'm an idiot and you just to do __________. It'd be much appreciated.

You have the wrong CAL ID for that ROM file... I opened it first time with AE5K611L

I have that definition already in rommeta. I can open it with ECUFlash but it's showing a different Cal ID (same this thread is for) than it should with ECUFlash so I took it at face-value.

The CAL-ID and ECU ID when I open the ROM in ECUFlash is confusing. So this is actually a AE5K611L? I'm so confused. lol

The ECU ID is correct though, it wont change. Just open the EcuFlash file in notepad and you will find it has

<xmlid>AE5K500L</xmlid> in the 2nd line... but everything else has the correct ECU ID and ROM CAL ID

that code gives the 'title' in EcuFlash which is why you are confused. It is safe to use, it wont affect the tune loading process
