Carbibbles wrote: The idle targets are set to 1000rpm by default in the CarBerry ROM, it is possible that the increased engine shake is from coming down from a higher rpm. You could try setting the idle targets down to stock settings and see if that helps I will test this tonight. Carbibbles wrote: Thank you for verifying that it works on your ECU. I think I will put up a list of verified ECUs in the main post, what year/make/model did you test it on? 2001-2002 EDM WRX A4SE900D I will test other 16bit EDM models(newer STi and WRX) as soon as I find some extra time.

It's always good to have engineers with spare time spent in the Subaru world I'm also going to school for mechanical engineering. My friends tell me i'm a nerd all the time, but I think they're crazy I just like to go fast

Cheers all! Yes it will, do however look into installing wiring up an IAT sensor on the Intake plenum as your model doesn't have one and this rom is best suited to a plenum mounted IAT. On another note, been testing this on the 2003 JDM STi and works like a charm. Is the launch setup to be on for part throttle? At part throttle, it holds as set but WOT and launch mode is off....

Throttle input shouldn't matter, Lc rpm shouldn't go above the "fuel cut enable" rpm threshold.

Are you using the defrost button to activate launch control or so you just have it enabled full time?

I forgot we have people that actually have and use the auto spray switch. If you want to pm me your map I can look over it to see what's going on.

Lol, no worries, you have done some awesome work really, got a full 2 days to play with CarBerry on a couple of JDMs, fuel pump duty works well, will be check CEL on knock tomorrow. Shortly, you will have PM, Thanks.

Ok I figured out your problem, I sent you a PM with a fixed ROM and some defs for you to use Remember that the mode byte no longer has any effect on anything. And also, if you want to enable a feature to be on all the time then check its "enable" switch. If you want to use the Autowash or defrost switch to control a feature then you have to check its "enable" switch and its "control with autowash/defrost button" switch.

Ok... I've got a problem with the SD map, it surges at idle, but only while stationary... The car will idle high when coasting, but as soon as the car stops it starts to surge. Any ideas?

Any ideas? I really think you have a bad iac, its a common problem with subies. Unplug the iac when its surging and I bet it will stop

Thanks Mate! So you would recomment to fit an IAT sensor to the intake pipe right? So do I just find a way to do that near the MAF sensor and then wire it back to the ecu? Is this something that is going to be out of my league? Also, which IAT sensor should I install? Cheers! ckibue wrote: jen233233 wrote: Hi Experts,
